Taking pictures during the challenging toddler years...

Turning two is a momentous event! So much has happened in the first two years of life and your little boy or girl is no longer a baby, but an active toddler! This stage is one of the most challenging for obtaining photographs, as your child seems to be moving constantly. Nevertheless, parents should persist in securing yearly portraits of their children as they rapidly grow and develop. Janine Weston of Weston Photography is skilled at providing the ideal amount of stimulation, an appropriate environment, natural props, and conversation that will allow her to capture your child in his or her element using the most flattering natural light. Contact Weston Photography for the best family and pet portraiture in the San Francisco Bay Area!

Photographing your new baby...

It is easiest to photograph a newborn baby within the first 2 weeks of life...they like to sleep...a lot. Relational images with the baby's guardians are some of the most powerful in their class. The family unit consisting of mom, dad, and siblings are among the most important caregivers and should be included in the portrait session. Extended family members such as grandparents, aunts, and uncles are welcome as well!
